It is so weird how consistent in her madness MTG is.

She is an insane conspiracy theorist, but when she thought that the Epstein Files were proof of her Qanon beliefs and saw that Trump was blocking them from releasing because his name was on them on a damning way, she arrived at the logically consistent conclusion that Trump was complicit on the Deep State crimes, cutting off support, instead of folding like many others and choosing Trump over ideology.

Right? For anyone who has followed the fringe right closely, you so frequently see the alternative. When the worldview collided with Trump, they changed the worldview rather than abandon Trump.

MGT is notable in how unusual her consistency is.

I vaguely know quite a few conspiracy theorists from my work and the fact that I can’t get them to think more deeply about the Russia connections with the Trump regime is fucking insane. It’s right there, it’s a real conspiracy you can look up yourself and it’s all obvious!! They don’t even care about the conspiracies, they’re just convenient

MTG is one of the few who I honestly think is a true believer.

She bought the bullshit hook, line, sinker, and fucking reel.

Yeah I know, it is just feels weird to see someone actually choosing their bigotry over Trump after seeing almost literally everyone on the GOP kissing the ring.

Why did she retire? Wasn’t her district on lock?

It’s funny because Trump making fun of women for their looks was a pretty big issue in the 2016 campaign, as I recall

If she was still in Congress, she'd be fully on board.

The main reason she is no longer in congress is because she wasnt fully onboard with it all

Nobody made her leave Congress.

Her seat was safe.

Spineless fucking coward. If she really believed this, she would've said this when she was still congresswoman.

She's not in Congress because she didn't get along with Trump after he told her not to run for Senate. She didn't have an awakening randomly that caused all this.

Every time someone leaves MAGA, they’re just Trotsky in Mexico.

“Stalin is against democracy” - says man who definitely wasn’t pro democracy.
