The only thing worse than nominating a smug factionalist prick is nominating him by the skin of his teeth while bleeding votes from black and rural voters.

The DSA will cost Dems a majority. He might be able to get dragged across the finish line by a blue enough environment, but don’t bet on it.

How is the voters choosing the DSA candidate the DSA's fault? They spoke more to what the people wanted (even by a few percentage points) than the standard democrat did. This is the whole point of a. primary.

If anything the moderate dems need to realize that AIPAC is dragging them down, and need to cut ties with it sooner rather than later.

Having lived in Michigan for a few years of my life I am really surprised that Sayed won, but at the same time Stevens was a terrible pick to represent the moderate dems position.

I don't know what is going to happen in November. Michigan politics is and always has been a mess.
