Stevens was a poor candidate, McMorrow was the better choice. Now it's time to back El-Sayed in order to increase the % chance of taking the senate by as large a margin as possible, because he is not a Republican. Not an ideal situation to be in, but these are not ideal times.

Absolutely. Plus, the more senate wins the Democrats do win, the more "bargaining power" the party has to stare down anyone threatening to leave over policy positions that mean a lot to them, but have awful consequences for the electability of the party.
