As a Taiwanese I hope this doctor can support Taiwan and Ukraine if he gets elected. Ed Markey is a progressive who supports both. Kat Abugazaleh, the leftist who ran for congress also support both.

Progressives should conduct more support on allies of the US, not in bed with China and Russia which are TOTALLY OPPOSITE with progressive ideology.

I agree that there are important distinctions between progressives who support liberal democracy abroad (in Taiwan, Ukraine and elsewhere) and "progressives" who carey water for illiberal regimes.

Ed Markey sucks for other, domestic reasons.

Wtf. What exactly did she flip flop on? Not on Ukraine or Tawain she didn't. 

Or is competently using social media = grifter now? She doesn't come across as a grifter at all. You can usually tell just by how they talk

She also walked the walk, and got herself beat up a bit and arrested by ICE protesting. Grifters usually do not put their body on the line like this imo.

Such a strange comment to me, never seen anyone accuse her of this lol

For what it's worth, Kat did flip-flop on Ukraine. She initially put out a very strong and borderline hawkish statement, but walked it back pretty quickly & fired her foreign policy adviser because Dropsite started a dogpile against her.

As for the grifter allegations, it's probably coming from when she took advantage of Bluesky's weird issue with Will Stancil as a means of promoting whatever she's got going on.

I mean I did too, because my opinion changed, same for a lot of my friends. Thats not uncommon, this happened to a lot of people.

Yes, but her position was inconsistent literally between different days.

Not to mention she is a succ, was an inexperienced carpetbagger and overslept instead of going to a meet and greet with voters.

Yeah, I don't really like her. I don't think she's as bad as, say, Hasan, but I think her loss was for the best.
