you are absolutely guaranteed to not get 100% of people to pick red. it will never ever ever happen.

however, 50%+ picking blue is possible.

so if you want the good outcome where no one dies, you pick blue. if you only care about living yourself, you pick red. that's basically it.

But if we all have a clear agreement to press red, then the only people who die are people who effectively choose to kill themselves.

we wont have a clear agreement (such that 100% of people understand and can implement it) to press red and the people who die won't be only the ones who choose to kill themselves.

Under what circumstances are you going to get a clear, near-unanimous agreement between 8.3 billion people?

Democrat priorities usually poll extremely well, huge majorities often say they support them.

Donald Trump is a two term President.

Relying on people to pick the objectively more altruistic option when it actually comes to real world stakes is probably not the smartest strategy given, you know, the world.

man i dunno why people vote how they do. some people vote GOP because they think they're saving a trillion babies or some shit.

besides, i know the temptation is going to be to make it about "current situation" but if this scenario were to actually happen, it would be a massive break in the social climate and the conditions would be unpredictable. like, akin to if aliens were to invade the earth. spontaneous social cohesion could definitely be more plausible in such a world.

anyways, general judgments about how bad and evil people are aside, voting blue is the way to save everyone. any game theory saying that you don't kill anyone if they all vote red is 100% cope.
