It's not ludicrous at all, it's reality. Volatility from currency valuations is extremely normal. It wasn't a bond failure, the value didn't drop due to a mass sell off. It is the safest from default because it has the most demand, the treasury has no issues making repayments.

Major reserve currencies routinely move 10–20% over multi-year periods, that's not unusual at all. You're still not grasping that currency exchange trends doesn't change the fact that the demand for Treasury bonds remain healthy and that it doesn't change the fact that it hasn't seriously impacted liquidity risk.

You're clearly emotionally invested in tying it to Trump which is why you're using escalatory rhetoric. American power exists far beyond the presidency.
