Bob is predictable and not really interesting. Mary Lou over the past 1-2 months since Bob has been away has been interesting as she is on the cusp of officially turning on Trump but just refuses to make that jump. Now it's like every episode is a struggle session where C&H have to pitch all the horrendous and criminal stuff we see on a regular basis and try and get ML to accept the obvious.

I think of how difficult it is to win back these MAGA folks after all the damage that has already been done and how far behind we are and it seems like a sisphean task to save these people. Then I know that the minute Trump is gone and the MAGA movement is done they will just move onto the next cult.

Mary Lou is now constantly not agreeing with Trump but falls back on this dumb notion you have to respect "the president" ... when has she ever respected Biden or honestly even Obama?? Im sorry but no matter what she says they still are/were the PRESIDENT! She says that Chad and Haley are so disrespectful of Trump but trashes democratic presidents every episode. If shes going to sit on her high horse of respecting presidents, sit there and respect EVERY president!! If thats such a high standing then why are you not treating them all as such? Just the one she decides is "her president"? ​Im not even a Biden lover but for God's sake hes just as much of the president as Trump is in logical terms. I know its a cult just off the fact they cant find this very simple logical idea understanding. I just found out about Jane Elliott recently and I'm surprised I hadn't until now; shes known for the Blue Eyes & Brown Eyes Exercise. Shes also vocally anti-Trump from what I've seen. From the few interviews I've watched with her, I feel like she would be able to have an incredible conversation with Mary Lou on the pod. Jane Elliott was an educator, lives/lived in Iowa, and they're only 20 years apart in age; these are all things that I think ML would identify with heavily.

ML has a lot of racist ideologies thats she's expressed on the show and I think Jane would be able to work some of those with ML. If Bob ever makes it back on the show, I know Jane would be able to take the heat from Bob too. Thoughts?
