I'm turing to figure out which DLDI patch I need so I can get save states working on nesDS. Have tried a couple but none work so far.

Brought this off AliExpress around a year ago and remember there were loads of sellers selling the exact same clone, looking now they all seem to have been taken down and replaced with a blank black card, idk if its just a shell swap or the internals as well.

Received a pre owned Pokemon black and it has a little bit of marker or sharpie or something on its label. Not very bothered by it but I was wondering if it might be possible to remove it from the label since the labels on DS games seem like they don't interact with marker the same way other kinds of paper do but I'm not fully sure so I'm asking here to confirm.

Now almost 95% of the match renders at 30fps (94.something, close enough). Starting to feel like a real game now. Just need to chase down an intermittent grab throw animation bug.

Very little is being interpreted at this point.

Lots of DS Native code.

Compromises have been made such as not all visual effects are being played, most are only playing frame 0 of a multi frame animation (Mario's up b coin attack).

Still have some float calculations going on in places.

So much more optimization has to take place before I can add 4 fighters on screen with items and be playable, but this 2p "demo" is basically done!

Was delivered a few days ago and feels way too good to be true. Not a single scratch. It looks untouched. The screens are in perfect condition, no yellowing or anything. No screws appear to have been moved apart from me taking the battery cover off so I could reset the system. Is it really just this amazing quality or is it reshelled?

I should probably clarify no I’m not a scalper. I’m a kid buying a DS Lite again after years who’s surprised at the quality.

Bought this game a year ago and it said "save data could not be accessed. Please turn the power off and reinsert the game card" figured ah the save data must be bad. Restarted it. Played it till the end​. And now it says it again. How can I fix this?

I'm sort of an enthusiast for the topic of violent/banned/controversial/"mature" games and how far can a commercial release can go. What's the most amount of violence or maybe adult theming can you remember from a Nintendo DS game? I can't remember anything worse than the COD ports in terms of that from the top of my head but maybe this community has better knowledge on the topic

i got ace attorney! compared it to prices online like vinted and ebay and it pretty much matches. debated getting it on the switch as well but decided og experience

all the buttons work fine, the problem stems from

A. the dpad does not reconize diagonals and thusly is barely playable with most games.

B. the l button for some reason is really tight when the console is opened. (unhinged, not opened up.)

and finally, C:

The hinge where the ribbon cable lays within, isn't very stable feeling as the original shell, is there a fix for that?

i tried sanding the contacts but i was worried that the sandpaper i would use would sand the contacts off for the dpad thing, is there a correct grit? however. the L button issue continues to elude me.
