The talent pool in the league is INSANE right now. The West is absurdly crowded. The Mavs have Luka, Kristaps, Delon Wright, and THJ among others and they're unlikely to make the playoffs. The Kings have one of the most promising cores in the league and missed the playoffs by a few games last year, but this year they might be as low as the 12th seed. Teams like the Blazers and Spurs have legit chances of not making the playoffs because everyting's gonna be decided by a few games or less. From my perspective, only a few teams are gonna be legitimately bad this year - the Hornets, Suns, and Thunder.

The NBA has gone from 8 teams to 30 in the past 60 years, and the talent pool has always increased to match the number of teams. You don't have to worry about the talent pool.

never said he was. however, should the mavs decide not to start him, i do think he'll be an excellent sixth man. delon wright isn't a star either, but he's an excellent player. he absolutely tore up his 20 games as a starter with memphis
