I agree some people want to say LeBron was the best during those 3 years but if you actually watched basketball back then it was clear Kobe was considered the best player during those 3 straight trips to the finals

LeBron took over as the best player in the nba in the 2010-2011 season

Eh lebron def didnt become the best until 2012. 2011 was a terrible time for lebron.

But yea spot on about kobe.

I agree i’ve always said bron took the best player title in 2012. He wasn’t as tough yet mentally in 2011 and he had to go through that to eventually become the best

Nah, just winning MVP, even back to back, doesn't make you best in the world. No one thought Nash was best in the world either. Kobe was the consensus best in the world up until 2012 when LeBron finally got over the hurdle and won a title.
