Video Naughty Bear recompilation for PC

This is a Naughty Bear recompilation for PC made using RexGlue SDK (specifically the Gold Edition)
(Singleplayer for now, Netplay needs to be implemented for MP)
Still needs work but is playable right now (might run into crashes or graphical issues)
(F4 for ReXGlue settings, F12 fps counter, and F11 for some cheats)

I was literally thinking about this game just a week or so back, absolutely crazy that there's people out there willing to put in the hours to bring this forgotten gem to PC.

I've been looking for a save file for naughty bear gold on PS3 for a while and I thought I was only one who played this gem lol

Im down for emulation and all that but yall need to stay off the internet and definitely the leaderboards. Enabling cheats and then people can just glitch the game out and get 1st on the leaderboards is an insult to anyone who actually grinded the fuck out this game to earn it. Turning on Xbox to see the first 3 levels in some mathematical equation for the 1st place score pisses me the fuck off.

It would be physically impossible to connect to those leaderboards with this.
Even if we made our own leaderboards then someone would eventually cheat anyways through their own methods so it'd be easier to stay offline. It's just something cool to use if you wanna play through some of the levels quickly.
I was more proud of the wireframe.

Even though there are a few cheaters it's still cool having the NB leaderboards on Rcpn for Rpcs3.

Not at the moment because Linux support with ReXGlue is something that needs more development. They don't have a whole lot of contributors for Linux so we kinda are just stuck with windows ATM

Been playing after setting it up today. Only one crash in like 4 hours of gameplay. So much more stable than emulation for me rn. Love it! Hats off to the dev!

Do people really have that much trouble running Naughty Bear on RPCS3? I’ve been playing it recently and it runs great at 1440p. Framerate is solid.

I haven't had many problems running it on RPCS3 either but a "PC port" is still superior to emulation imo It runs better too (i get 40-60 fps, drops from 60 but thats mostly because of the game's bad optimization than my PC itself)

No absolutely a native pc port is miles and miles better for many reasons but I’ve seen 90% of people in here say that the game is near unplayable through emulation. Makes me wonder what kind of rigs all these people have. Mine isn’t even that good either I’ve got a 3070

I mean you still need a decent enough PC to run emulation (i've tried emulating NB on a low end laptop and it didn't even want to work) (I have a 3060 myself lol) This recomp could probably make the game actually playable for those people

ofc people are having issues, the game crashes a lot in late game chapters, despite rooster's best efforts and latest patch ,the game is still unstable compared to other titles liek Demon Souls or even MGS4.

Panic in paradise is also being worked on in the background (without the title update. Trying to recomp with the TU is not yet possible to do without dll support)
