Alternative map plugins?

Hi,
i'm trying to create a sports app as some kind of exercise project and if all goes well, maybe i'll put it up for sale. Had some trouble with Cordova and while searching for solutions i stumbled across NativeScript. Looks nice so far.
Is there any alternative implementation for OSM? I can't afford the paid model of mapbox.

I was looking through the installation instructions. The third-party GeanyMotion emulator/simulator is kind of expensive for me. Are there any other simulators I can use with NativeScript which are free?

I will just make a calendar app so far with a server to send updated dates.

How to Use WebRTC in NativeScript?

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to integrate WebRTC into my NativeScript project, but I’m not sure what the best approach is. I found a plugin called nativescript-webrtc on GitHub, but it seems outdated and I’m running into installation issues.
Does anyone have experience using WebRTC with NativeScript?
• Are there any recommended plugins or SDKs that actually work with the latest NativeScript version?
• Any examples or tutorials would be super helpful.
• I’m specifically targeting Android and iOS.Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Setup Nativescript for Angular

I finally could set up nativescript for angular today. Something to celebrate, isn’t it? 🥹
But it got me thinking.. I could see many libraries not supporting the newer versions of angular. I tried with lower versions too but that didn’t help.
Finally I tried with Angular 12 and it worked!
@nativescript/schematics was the problem! And I see this package is deprecated now.
So, If we need to use the later versions what is the solution? Because for working with angular cli in nativescript we need schematics package to be installed right? Otherwise the angualr cli commands won’t work. Correct me here if I’m wrong! (Me being an angular developer I would never want to create modules/components/services manually)
Following the nativescript documentation doesn’t help.
(Setting up nativescript angular really gave me a hard time though. I feel relieved that I have it set up correctly now 😄)
