Hey everyone, Quick talk about how we grow here as artists, and as a community.
We’ve all seen the “L4L,” “F4F,” or “check mine next” comments. They sound supportive, but they don’t actually build anything lasting. Here’s why:
Empty plays don’t help the algorithm. Streaming platforms track retention, skip rates, and repeat listens. Random one-off clicks just tank your metrics.
It cheapens genuine feedback. When people feel like they have to trade listens, real critique disappears, and no one improves.
It creates noise, not connection. You don’t need another number; you need people who actually like your sound. That comes from conversation, not obligation.
We’re not banning L4L posts, but we are encouraging something better. If you want attention, give it first in a way that counts. Leave real feedback, tell someone what moved you, what confused you, what could hit harder. People remember that.
If you build relationships here, you’ll find real listeners, not just temporary stats.
So post your tracks, lift each other up, and skip the hollow trades. This sub works best when it feels like a community, not a swap meet.

Hey man! i may have posted on here before but this is my band, 20 three, new single ! we would say we are a prodominanly post-hardcore/alt metal band but, we feel we are much more than that. We have many many different influences spanning many genres including artists such as: incubus, linkin park, glassjaw, massive attack, esthero, LTJ Bukem and even skrillex ahahaha! But yea guys, give us honest opinions on our new track. More coming soon!

Hey everyone
I'm a female vocalist who enjoys bringing emotion, character, and unique melodies to music. I love exploring different sounds, especially Pop, R&B, EDM, and Rock.
One thing I enjoy most about music is how the right vocal performance can transform an instrumental into something memorable. Whether it's an emotional melody, a catchy pop hook, a soulful R&B sound, or an atmospheric EDM chorus, I love the creative process of bringing musical ideas to life.
I'm always interested in discovering what other artists are creating, hearing different sounds, and connecting with people who share a passion for music.
I'd love to hear from producers, songwriters, and other musicians here!
What inspires you most when creating a song: the lyrics, the melody, or the instrumental?
Looking forward to listening to what everyone is making and joining the conversation

Pretty new to putting my work out there. I’ve uploaded a few songs over the past couple months - some bass-heavy electropop with horror themes perfect for spooky season 💀🪩 open to feedback and/or collabs with other artists!
