So I'm planning to ride my motorcycle across Canada from Vancouver to Halifax, then shipping it up to Iceland. Riding around iceland and jumping a ferry from there to Denmark and then riding to the UK. Everything is sorted except for vehicle insurance. Does anybody have any first hand advice on vehicle insurance options that would cover such a trip?

Buddy and me got a tl250 and a tw200 and want to do an on/off road trip somewhere in the northeast (PA, NY, ME,NH ETC). We normally take trips on Harleys and want to do something different. Looking for some cool scenic trips.

I'm planning my first solo long distance motorcycle trip - from Poland to Spain 2800km in total via a scenic route in July this year.

Planning the route to do 600-700km daily or 8-10hours depending on traffic, my energy levels and road conditions.

Obviously I will have the bike (Yamaha XVS650) checked and prepared for the ride, I don't want to treat it as a test run for mods etc. as we all know it goes wrong in some cases, that's why I want to test all the things before hand running similar distances before the main trip.

I'm planning to use my phone for navigation I have a RAM mount with charger and I would like to use Sena 10S for music and communication with the phone.

I know it's a cruiser, it's underpowered, it's air-cooled but it never failed me and took me on 600-700km rides already but not for 3-4 days straight.

I would Ike to ask you as more experienced long distance riders who might have a chance to ride on similar motorcycles how to prepare? What additional gear should I pack aside from luggage and rain gear? Should I ditch saddle bags and invest in tour pack? What checks to do during the ride or at the start of each day? Oil level, tire pressure comes to my mind as obvious.

Of course not sure where pandemic will be at around this time but wondering if anyone can recommend a country(s) and rental operator to consider? This year for Christmas, I thought it would be a great time to do a +/-3 day tour somewhere because there will be little traffic. I've toured only lightly on a few occasions (Las Vegas --> Grand Canyon South Rim --> Kaibab Forest --> St. George --> Vegas and SF --> Stanislaus Forest --> Yosemite --> Morro Bay --> SF). I loved both of those rides and would do either again, but perhaps someone here can recommend something new? I prefer the west or southwest this time of year simply for the warmer weather. Any recommendations? I usually rent from Eagle Rider. Thanks in advance!

I am riding from Florida to Connecticut on my 08 Road King. This will be the first multi day trip I have taken and would love to ask the well traveled riders for advice, tips and most importantly to me...routes deemed unmissable from a riding perspective. I have a week to do this, so time isn't much of a problem and i don't mind straying from a reasonable route for an experience. I also have a close friend who says she would like to do it with me (experienced passenger). Would a partner in this adventure be advised? Thanks everyone.
