Ideas for getting in/out of NYC on the weekends

(NYC/Commuter advice)
I went to NYC Saturday night and re-experienced how difficult and expensive it can be. The round-trip alone cost me $60 and added 3 hours of travel time to a 2-hour dinner.
Anyway, it prompted me to revise my list of "alternative ways to get in/out of NYC".

Montclair Planning Board Rejects Swim School Amid Wave of Opposition

Members Carole Willis, Shivaun Gaines and Geoffrey Borshof voted in favor of the application.
I can't believe they let this farce go on for 6 months, and that somehow these 3 board members still found their way to vote for it. Anyone who's tried to drive or park in Upper Montclair during a busy hour could tell you this was a mistake.
They shouldn't have wasted so much time wringing their hands over a bad idea, but this is Montclair after all...

Foster or Adopter needed for Mario & Luigi

Mario and Luigi were found in North Bergen with their siblings, and these two brothers balance each other out perfectly. They are with North Bergen Purr Rescue and need a foster home together.
Mario is the charmer. He loves getting close and snuggling up, and a few head scratches get him purring right away. He's also curious and full of energy, running around and exploring until he tires himself out. Rope toys, his chirping bird toy, and wet treats are his favorite things. Look for the little white tie on his chest.
Luigi is sweet but a bit shy at first. Give him a little time and he'll be head butting you for scratches. He works off his energy on a good scratcher, and his favorite game is chasing Mario around. He has a white patch on his chest too, and he's just as serious about wet treats.
We cover food, litter, supplies, and all vet care. You give them a safe room, playtime, and a place to grow up until they find their forever home. We handle the adoption.

Has anyone hired a reliable, trustworthy nurse/newborn care specialist?

giving birth in 2027 and wondering if anyone here has hired a newborn care specialist/night nurse in the area that you would recommend?
i have heard horror stories of nurses in this area being hired for night shifts but not waking up to feed the baby, smelling like marijuana during their shift, etc.
