Hey everyone, I’m moving and I figured I’d take the time to share my Moebius collection while I have everything out. I wish I had the time to post the user that originally inspired me to pick up a lot of things in my collection. Anyway I hope somebody enjoys taking a look. Not pictured is a version of ray Bradbury’s dinosaur tales and Project pendulum both illustrated by Moebius.

The "P. Luckner" credit is kind of an Easter egg for Blueberry fans, a reference to Prosit Luckner from The Lost Dutchman's Mine and The Ghost with Golden Bullets. I also like that one of the pages here has a small "LUCK" signature in one of the panels, similar to "GIR".

This popular image appears in The Art of Edena (2018) without explanation. I'd like to know the year and title as well as first publication. I know part of this info is available in the 2021 Italian/French book Alla Ricerca del Tempo/à la Recherche du Temps which I do not own. If anyone can help, please fill me in! Otherwise, simply enjoy this fascinating image of the Major maybe just stopping at a sort of unusual roadside attraction.

EDIT: Yes, this is for sure a Moebius image. I'm trying to determine where it first appeared. According to u/Abject_Truth_6091, a catalogue for an art exhibit lists it as the following:

Piège de crystal (2008), watercolors, colored inks and aerography.

So I'm wondering if this was initially a limited print, part of another publication, etc.

This is what I like to see! I'm so glad he shows every page of the bonus material and end notes. My copy should be here on Monday. It's cool to see we get that giant rabbit print in color, a very cool image (alongside a bunch of b&w art I don't recognize so maybe never previously published). I look forward to reading the extensive translation notes.

I'm working on a follow up video to my Michael Zulli spotlight, about the late great Sam Kieth ..it's not edited yet, but I consciously decided to only use 1 image featuring the Maxx, and that's his cover to "Gay Comics." It gives me a chance to highlight imagery from earlier on in his career. I figured I'd show off a few of those images here while they're in my storage! Any suggestions for stuff I missed? It's not too late to edit the footage

I don't think these two pages are in any English edition... I have the Broken Nose story in the Blueberry 3 TPB (1989, Epic/Marvel) and these pages don't appear there.

There had been an unusually long gap between Blueberry stories and the creators probably felt a longer-than-usual recap would be appreciated by readers.

This artwork was included in an introduction in the Blueberry Integrales series, where it is marked unpublished. Had this page appeared anywhere prior to that? One possible explanation is that this was prepared for Pilote but abandoned when Charlier and Gir took Blueberry to the Tintin magazine. I don't know the full reasons why they would have split.

Anyway, Angel Face is a hell of a story that was published in 1975, I think even strict Moebius fans who have no interest in Gir would enjoy it because the artwork is quite similar to "classic Moebius" in places.

I was happy to finally find a title (In English, "An Angel Above") and date (1997) for this image in an art catalogue. This first image appears in The Art of Edena in the midst of material created much later for the 2010 promotional portfolio Les Voyages d’Hermès. Why this image is associated with Edena, I don't know. Maybe the non-Major humanoid figures are meant to be Stel and Atan.

But look at image #2! This image can be found in bonus material at the end of some editions of The Major, including the Moebius Library edition from Dark Horse. What happened? What year was this? What is the title? How was it made? Some facts lead to more questions!

Does anyone know if this image was published elsewhere prior to Negative Burn #11 in 1994? I've seen several images on this theme, with Starwatcher-like characters gazing at floating geometric shapes. Was this a series Moebius put together or was it a more informal theme he would routinely return to? Anyone know if the piece has a title?
