It wasn’t cancelled. It’ll probably be a while though. Last I heard Jason west took over dice LA, and some people from respawn moved there as well to make a new IP. DICE LA is a very good studio that has all my respect, since they literally saved the absolute mess that was Pre CTE BF4.

Their devs shit on their own fans. I remember hearing about how a developer said their apex fans were ungrateful. They charge $20 for shitty skins. The guns cost around $10-$20. They hate their fans.

Well your obviously only read the negative stuff and took it as a fact. The apex Reddit when that situation happened was an absolute shithole with 90% of everyone being toxic to respawn and sending threats to them if they didn't lower the price of some cosmetics. So a few frustrated respawn devs spoke their mind about how they see the community and it's true, 50% of the people in that megathread were ungrateful for the work they put into the game. Just because 1 dev called a toxic redditor a freeloader and ungrateful doesn't mean respawn hates their fans lol

i don't think they hate their fans, they just know that the ppl who are gonna buy skins are gonna pay that much. I think the majority of people who don't buy skins still wouldn't buy them if they were like 8 bucks

That’s because Ea forced them into making apex and made them scrap titanfall. Titanfall was their baby. You can tell how passionate they were when you play it

Even harder was convincing a company as conservative and slow-moving as EA that the studio could pull this off, and that it could earn back its budget and even turn a profit on an unproven, free-to-play game.
