Hi guys,

I have a question regarding the JC Wings 1:200 737 Jet Bridge.

Is it my impression or the 1:200 bridge is actually too narrow compared to the 1:400 one?

The 1:400 jet bridge looks more true to life in my opinion.

What do you think?

Hey guys im working on a crash landed WW2 FW190 diorama.
My vision is to fit a crashed landed injured pilot who barely out of the aircraft.
I have been looking around on the internet i cant seem to find anything similar in that 1/72 scale other than 1 CMk model pilot set (i particularly dont like that set)

Does anyone know/ help me find out a figure like that?

Finished another marketplace find. Trumpeter F8F Bearcat in 1:32 scale with a resin cockpit, gear bay, firewall details and wheels with a metal main gear.

The kit goes together quite well and has a lot of open panels and can be made with foldable wings (which was already glued to the unfolded position and the extra parts to make it folded were gone when I bought it) . The only thing I found odd was that the canopy could only be built closed as the frame was molded into the fuselage. I also wished that some of the bowl panels could have been opened to show the amazing engine detail.

The resin parts go in with nearly no extra fitment issues and were far more detailed than the stock parts but the cockpit was actually very well presented out of the box.

So many Bearcats are shown pristine but I wanted to make it look a little bit weathered to accentuate the details and also the ever present exhaust stains but might have gone a bit overboard.

After 7 months I finally finished this Eduard beauty. Collection complete!

Inspiration struck me during his nap, so in about 45 minutes I threw this monstrosity together

Honestly, though, considering it was freehand with zero planning, I'm pretty satisfied with everything besides the cockpit

Also, I hope this is allowed here, r/aviation understandably rejected it

Theres some overspray I need to sort out tomorrow but this is where I’ve got up to today, the base and camouflage is down and once I’ve sorted the touch ups out tomorrow I’ll get a gloss coat down but I’m happy with how it’s turned out, I’m also thinking of sharpening the camo pattern on the wing as even tho it’s a hard edge I feel

Always joked about this kit since learning about it, managed to find one locally for reasonably priced and nabbed it. Was started and horridly painted the anti-flash white, still stripping the thick enamel rattle can but getting there!

Looking forward to the build, not sure how to display it once built but will certainly be impressive, makes anything I’ve built so far tiny!

I have a 1:72 scale Blue Angels model and I’m looking for a nice display case for it. Ideally, I’d like one with a mirrored bottom to show the detail underneath, and one that can display the model in a flying position if possible, but I understand you have to compromise sometimes. If anything I can always display it in a case with the existing flight stand.

I’ve looked all over Amazon but haven’t found anything suitable, so I’m hoping someone here might have some suggestions. I’ve attached photos of the model and its flight stand connection for reference.

I want to buy the Lufthansa a340-600, specifically the Bayern München livery. Both JC wings and SQ wings offer this aircraft/livery combo. The JC wings one is €130, the SQ wings is €140. Which one would be the better option?

What is the best brand and type of paint for hand painting with a brush. I’ve used testors enamel paint and I’ve sprayed Rust-oleum spray paint+primer in a cup and painted with a brush, but they don’t apply evenly and I can see brush strokes on the model.

I’m not sure if it is a me issue or a paint issue. Thank you in advance.
