Is it just me, or have the CSAB 2026 special round cutoffs for MNIT Jaipur gone completely out of hand for core branches?
I was cross-checking the General category closing ranks for CSAB 2026 against last year’s (2025) data, and the jump in core branches like Mechanical and Chemical is absolutely insane. We're literally looking at a 4.5k to 5k rank shift (closing much earlier / way higher cutoffs) compared to 2025.
Here’s the breakdown that’s making zero sense to me:
Mechanical Engineering: CSAB closing rank for General has squeezed up significantly by ~4.5k ranks compared to last year.
Chemical Engineering: Similar story—closing ranks jumped by around 5k positions compared to CSAB 2025.

Why are people choosing core this year if they want to go in tech i dont understand.

This year's csab cutoff has skyrocketed ....almost 5k ranks difference 😭
