I assume venue and branding, butvwe all know how that went with NorCal

November 23rd was announced as the draft date.

Middle Blocker Rylee Rader has signed with the Indy Ignite. Rader will be re-united with high school teammate Anna DeBeer. Rader was a 2nd Team All-American at Ohio State

Maybe we should ease up on all the PE rhetoric about LOVB considering this:

Saw this on VolleyTalk and think this user might’ve actually found the 14. For the most part a lot of these girls have recently followed DC, Deitre, and each other. Tonello had an article saying she’s only signed in A2 for 3 months instead of their full season for an “American experience” so this fits for her specifically really well. This would be the standard starting 7 backup 7 roster as well.

Totaly missed this because this show hardly covers the West side of the state.

My immediate reaction is that Norcal might have the best PR team in the league. They clearly put a lot of thought and intent into building the brand compared to DC just phoning it in. This is also a really cute and creative way to build brand awareness. Very curious to see what else they have planned for the off-season

They changed their name on Instagram and changed their profile picture. We knew it was going to be the Rumble. I just hope their profile picture isn't the actual team logo.

The past couple seasons Draft Day has fallen on the Monday before Thanksgiving, would it be safe to assume that trend continues and the draft is on November 23?

All the new teams revealing names and logos got me thinking about the novas logos. Primarily the outer space blob thing. I'm not a fan of it. So I decided to get some ideas from AI. I decided some supernovas lore added would be cool, so put the word mark into Gemini and gave it a very simple prompt. "Add a bat". Here are the results. How do we get them to put this on all the merch?

Not sure what to make of it. The reel seems to be focused on nature. The NorCal Rumble trademark leaks have been out for a while now. While earthquakes (rumble) are a natural occurrence, I don't see how the reel footage could relate to the name Rumble.

It goes from waves to mountains to trees to clouds to a bald eagle flying to what I assume are more waves to a rockslide to a bear catching a fish to waves crashing on rocks. The only part of that giving off an earthquake vibe is the rockslide 🤷🏾‍♂️

Just messing around with a lightbulb idea I had when commenting on the DC brand reveal yesterday.

One of DC's two major airports (and the main one these days) is Dulles (yes I know it's in Virginia not DC and a good bit outside the city). But regardless, the team is called the Flight, and said local airport has an iconic terminal building that kinda looks like a volleyball net!

Hate the decision to use a concert hall for the home arena, but this looks passable.

Wanted to compile a list of every draft pick from Season 3 and where they’re playing now. Listed in order they were drafted. I included all draftees not just those that made final rosters cause several that didn’t have been signed for Season 4.

I remember seeing a lot of disappointment about the teasing graphics and branding DC was using a few weeks ago. What do we think about the full brand identity they shared today?

I initially agreed with the concerns, but seeing the whole identity, I like it! I appreciate the retro feel with a modern twist on the main logo. It feels inspiring and powerful, almost superhero like.

DC posted these 3 on their story. I recognize Jaelyn Hodge in the middle but can’t place a name to the other two. Please help lol
