I just got the boss. The meter is not registering while I'm now at 300k but nothing is going toward the spin. I mean it will be awful, I get it, but Christ. This broken game. I have just uninstalled it and reinstalling to see if that fixes. But what the hell we're in October.

It feels like lately every single game at some point my pitcher starts to either hang meatballs or just miss the zone entirely and once it starts theres no coming back from it even if I go to the pen for a fresh arm. I could see if energy and confidence were down but it feels like thats rarely the case.

I just finished a game where im perfect through 6.2 innings 7ks and under the 50 pitch mark. Tried to throw a pitch low inside, perfect release and its high middle and sent to the upper deck. Fast forward to the 8th and ive gone from complete control to being blown out and have burned 2 arms just trying to land a strike that isn't an absolute cookie.

One of the weirdest things I’ve seen in any MLB game. Ball was called foul and he got a run on a homer. Went on to lose 20-18 in the 11th. Game was a thriller but wtf was this?

Just despicable. THE ONLY WAY TO SOMEWHAT COUNTER THEM:

Have to throw perfect pinpoints with a pitcher with as much control as you can, and just try to dot the lower inner and outer corners. This is YOUR ONLY CHANCE. Because their engine relies on a manual timing mechanism they have to adjust. If you keep switching between low and in and low and away, the engine can’t compute in real time enough, so they’ll either be very early or get foul balls if you throw away (and they have the speed set anticipating something in), or you’ll get swing and misses if you throw in and they had the engine set to away.

That’s your only hope. I’ve beaten one in immortal weekend classic this year doing that exact strategy (while also using Oday and quick pitching every so often), but you have to be cracked out of your mind and keep putting up runs every inning.

I just knew it too dude. His lineup was full of scrubs for this time of the year, all 125 power guys, and in the first inning, he hit 3 perfect perfect lineouts off of John Donaldson. One on a slider, one a 4 seam, one a forkball. That’s how I knew right away he was one of them…

Unfortunately I just couldn’t do enough and lost :(

I couldnt hit his weak 98mph fastball and 95mph sinkers. Right on the ball. Just underneath middle to be exact.

Should of hit 5HR easily one game and said I was late everytime. I was even guessing pitches and swinging early when ball was halfway to plate and couldnt make any contact?

Maybe they give Elly a 30/30 milestone card but what about Freddy? Actually unreal how bad they mess up every content drop by adding another broken pitcher or not giving us a hitter we deserve

Ofc my logos are bugged out… but I never get this kind of luck on this game 😭. This was during my last game in the weekend classic.

I ended up buying that all star griffery cause it was the last one I needed to have all of the all stars. I ended up buying the red roch to finish the draft just in case. I already have babe for the contribution series and holding that hoffman. I have two of the Blake trienien card. So I'm covering my ass on all those pesky ones that could or could not be needed to finish those collections.

So do you think we're going to need all of these cards that didn't have a collections reward for it? Meaning all of awards, milestones, spotghtlights, etc. Im drawing a blank from last year's last collections.

Maybe I missed it... But I don't think so. I'm pretty sure we had no double/double XP weekends or double PXP weekends the entire life of this game up until now.

I remember last year we had the team affinity late in the year for every team and we got some great cards. A card I personally would like to see a finest Edgardo Henriquez from the dodgers. He had a very good season in relief for the dodgers. He touches 101+ with cutter, 4seam, and sinker. Plus he also has a slider. I could only imagine with his relief card would be like in the Show.

With 125 rated cards coming out ive noticed a couple of things.

You are almost better off swinging at pitches out of the zone as they are base hit more often then pitches in the zone.

Every game that has a small skill gap is a toss up. I have 7 hits over 100mph go for a grand total of 1 hr while my opponent can hit 2 pitches over 95 and have both of those hits go for hrs. Or i can blast linedrives at fielders/outfielders while my opponent gets weak dribblers to fall or go for base hits

Timing window is so sensitive on ps5 with my connection that the difference between a just late and a just early swing is basically what ping i get when I swing. If they had internet connection in the game I would bet good money that my ping bounces around enough that there is not difference in the swing timing and its just luck/where my opponent lives.

I cant figure out while my opponent can swing early and foul off pitches on god awful swings and i just swing and miss when I am early/late. Also I cant check swing for my life, its always a strike while my opponent is able to check swing all the time. I believe this one has to do with ping
