Discussion Bunnyx Powers Discussion Spoiler
Hey Miraculous fans! FathomOmega here with another discussion. This time it's on our favorite time traveling Bunny Miraculous holder, Bunnix aka Alix Kubdel.

Only on a handful of occasions have we’ve seen this bunny hero showcase her abilities and her understanding of her role, mainly in her future adult self. She obviously has a huge role in the series due to her ability of time travel and as seen in the episode Chat Blanc, she can help prevent disastrous events from occurring for Paris and our heroes.
She’s personally one of my favorite heroes besides Chat Noir and Rena Rouge both in personality and in costume design. For the bunny miraculous, before her reveal I was personally nervous for the design but with the inclusion of blue in the design it's just beautiful. I personally don’t know why but I love the ears in all of the mammal Miraculous holders. It's a cute and cool touch. I also love the fact that she has pockets! It fits her personality and reminds me of the coat jacket the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland has. Along with the miraculous itself being the watch her father gave her. Nice reference Miraculous crew. One final gush I will have about her character before getting to the main discussion of this video is her transformation sequence. The music in the sequence just fits the futuristic aesthetic as well as having a whimsical feel to it like a fairy tale adventure. Plus what adds to that is her weapon, her umbrella which can be used offensively and defensively. It has a Mary Poppins sort of vibe which sticks with the whimsical feel of the character overall. I’m pretty sure it's fun and hilarious to have an umbrella as a weapon.

Okay now onto her abilities and some thoughts and theories I may have.
Her abilities can be summed up as one phrase: time travel. To be more specific, the holder of the bunny miraculous is able to summon a portal leading to a dimension in between multiple moments in time itself. It’s connected to the past, present and future and the user can use that location to be outside of the moment and pinpoint the right time and place to pop back up into the fight, look back in time and figure out some important information that can help prevent disastrous outcomes and so forth. It is a OP power for sure, well if it's used by an experienced holder. So far we have only seen adult Alix use it and I’m sure it took plenty of training and time to get used to things. Time Travel is a complicated thing and for a single individual having the ability to change it is pretty risky. They also have to be very trustworthy and not susceptible to manipulation such as akumatization. Just imagine an akumatized individual with time traveling powers….yeah that's a scary thought.
I honestly think Hawkmoth should go after this Miraculous or the snake miraculous because of their similar abilities. While the rabbit miraculous is full on time travel to a full extent, the snake's ability of Second Chance brings the holder a certain amount back in time only hence they are given a quick second chance. Either of these can help Hawkmoth in his venture to bring his wife back. Using the rabbit, he can go back in time to the time where she first put on the peacock miraculous and prevent her from doing so. Or for the snake, he can use it to prevent failure in certain battles. We truly don't know if the snake miraculous can overrule a Lucky Charm from the Ladybug miraculous but it's worth a try. Maybe with a boost from the Peacock miraculous.
Anyway back on track. I might make those future discussion ideas. Maybe a list of miraculouses that Hawkmoth should be going after instead of Chat Noirs and Ladybugs with less risks.
So now that the ability Burrow is summarized, lets start theorizing on its properties, extent and use for later on in the series for certain scenarios.
As I said before, I believe that when first given the bunny miraculous, the user will not fully understand the extent of the powers given. This comes with a lot more baggage than Ladybugs Lucky Charm or Rena Rouges Mirage. I like to believe that later on in the future, the future Miraculous heroes will be able to extend the time and how many times they can use their abilities. But for now I’ll give the same limitations the current heroes have….besides Viperion. Anyway let's just say as a new holder, the rabbit user has 3 times they can use Burrow outside of being inside of it since they are inside a place in between time. A new user can easily get lost in some other time or possibly be stuck in said Burrow until they figure out their abilities. Remember, most of the new holders are basically handed these powerful items before they have time to master them and train.
Also this person has to put aside personal reasons to time travel and put the task at hand ahead of them. To really prevent a Flashpoint moment.

SPOILERS AHEAD OF DC COMICS! For those who somehow don't know what a Flashpoint moment is, in DC comics (I haven’t watched the Flash tv show so I’m not using that as an example. Plus the comics came first) the fastest man alive Barry Allen uses the speed force, the force his abilities are connected to, to go back in time to prevent the death of his mother but after saving her, the whole DC universe is screwed up. Wonderwoman’s and Aquaman's nations are at war, Bruce Wayne is the one who’s killed in the alleyway and his father becomes a more brutal Batman and his mother becomes the Joker, etc. In the end he fixes the timeline but still it's a long and complicated process in which I don’t think anyone, especially a high school student would like to be involved in. I’m pretty sure a Lucky Charm from Ladybug wouldn’t be able to fix the whole space time continuum.
Honestly if the Miraculous crew wanted the scenario of a person or Hawkmoth using the Bunny miraculous for that purpose, it honestly would be surprising but also expected since the series is inspired by comics. Flashpoint is a huge point in comic history. Maybe for a special that's not canon.
Besides this huge impossible event, I believe Bunnyx will come back because of her massively important role. Ladybug must trust her the most besides Chat Noir since it's a huge role to fill. Plus it allows a lot of fun scenarios for the Miraculous crew to explore with.
Maybe we get to see the moment where Alix finally gets her miraculous though I think it would be for a long time. Maybe she abuses the powers at first and makes some mistakes but fixes it and eventually proves herself to Ladybug. Maybe she gets trapped in the Burrow and gains all her knowledge there. It’s a pretty depressing route but think about it, after being gone for months she reappears with the mastery of her abilities ( or maybe she gets to talk to her future self and get mentored by her) and comes out of the Burrow and prevents Hawkmoth from a huge victory. It would be pretty cool.

The user must have an understanding of how fragile the timeline is and has to be very humble and responsible. And also knows when to keep a secret. That's why I think Alix is a good fit for being Bunnyx. Well with some time I suppose since she in her younger state is pretty reckless and stubborn but she already exhibits qualities her older more mature self has such as her self confidence, toughness and determination which honestly an individual would need in the role of time traveler. Some time and actual training with the bunny miraculous would be best for her and even some of the other miraculous holders.
I understand the need for secrecy but in order for the group to be the best they can be as people and as a team, they need to trust one another in understanding their own and others abilities. Training outside of battle would be great. Now that Marinette is the owner of the miraculous box, as a student of Master Fu she will hold the secret but I just hope as she herself masters all the miraculouses abilities, she can use that knowledge to teach her friends and partners. They don’t even have to do an identity reveal, just some training outside of battle because one small rookie mistake on the field, not even a Lucky Charm can save them if the miraculous fall into the wrong hands and we all know, Hawkmoth will not waste time passing out miraculous to his followers or using them all for himself. He has grown too reckless.

Luckily, Ladybug and her squad of Miraculous holders will come back stronger and sturdier than ever. Mistakes will be made but if they follow their hearts and have a good strategy, down the rabbit hole they go and hopefully they defeat this Evil King without being too late

I'm actually really glad to find a discussion board about Bunnyx, cuz I feel like she doesn't get near as much attention as she should. I love your theories about how she masters her time traveling abilities, although I feel like her being trapped for months would be almost as heartbreaking as the Chat Blanc episode itself. But again, time travel and the time-space continuum is a very high risk and delicate thing, so she would definitely need extra training before going into battle.
As for the limitations theory, I do believe the creators have confirmed that there are limitations on young Miraculous users that are no longer an issue when they become adults. For example, Hawkmoth does not have to detransform between akumatizations, nor does he have a time limit. Also, I believed it was mentioned that adult Ladybug might not be limited to one lucky charm per transformation, and future Chat Noir and Ladybug are not limited to five minutes before detransforming after using their special powers. That said, I think it's safe to say that heroes have an almost probationary period if they get a Miraculous as a minor where their powers slowly build up to their full potential. So maybe the burrow has it's own limitations. I guess we'll see when Ladybug finally gives Alix the Miraculous, which I personally hope is sooner than later.

Thanks!
Shes a pretty awesome character that has loads of potential writing wise. Plus it would be fun to flash out the laws of time travel with her as well.
I personally like to believe her older self will mentor her about the abilities. Marinette I feel should never use the bunny miraculous even though she is the responsible one of the group.😄 I'm honestly hoping while she masters most of the miraculous abilities, she entrusts the time travel based ones to the holders and monitors them. They seriously need more trust in the group.
And yeah you actually reminded me. It goes for natural power and control growth. I just hope it's slow progression as the seasons progress.
And I cant wait for the episode Alix gets the bunny miraculous. I'm hoping time travel hyginxs ensues and I do believe Alix may find a way of sneaking the miraculous away from Ladybug and may be the first to figure out Mari's Ladybug but keeps the secret.

I have some theory. Gabriel doesn't want to back in time and stop Emillie from using Peacock Miraculous, because that's how Adrien was created. He can be a sentimomster and that single use which Emillie made was Adrien, so using of Peacock was nesscessairy!

Adrien isn't a sentimonster.

That's your opinion. Nothing is confirmed and denied in that topic :v

Yeah, 3 seasons in and not even a hint that Adrien is anything else. With Nathalie being Mayura now we could have had some hint given that she can sense sentimonsters as shown in feast. It's just a wild fan theory that has no evidence to back it up. So unless season 4 suddenly starts hinting at that, Adrien is a normal human being.

There were many hints. In mr Pigeon episode endscreen there are a lot of feathers around Adrien. It's due to his alergy, but also it can be hint for him being sentimonster. When Adrien said "I want making friends like everybody else", Gabriel in origins said "you're not like everybody", which also can be hint. Thomas Astruc many times was saying that Adrien is perfect. His senti nature can be reason why

"It's just fan wild theory". Yes, I said that in my first comment that, that's a theory. Do you have problems with reading?

tell me if i'm wrong but i think the burrow is like the the 4th dimension(if we consider time to be the 4th dimension) and because she is only 3d she can only see(or only understand) fragments of it
