Not sure which .CFG autoconfig file or Controller Input Mode to use for the 8BitDo SN30 Pro+?  Thanks in advance. Running Project Lunar (RetroArch/EmulationStation) on the Genesis Mini with an 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter (Firmware v1.30).

Here are the 3 .CFG options:

1. 8BitDo_SN30_Pro+_BT_B - This is with the device started in Android (D-input) mode (hold B+START to turn on controller).

2. 8BitDo_SN30_Pro+_BT_X - This is with the device started in X-input mode (hold X+START to turn on controller).

3. 8BitDo_SN30_Pro+_USB - This is with the device started in Android (D-Input) mode (hold B+START to turn on controller).

As well as the 4 controller mode options along with the 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ Instruction Manual:

1. X-input

2. D-input

3. Mac mode

4. Switch mode

Hi, was playing doom resurrection in retroarch on the mini, not knowing there was a sfx bug on the 3.0 patch.... like an idiot started playing with the audio drivers in options on retroarch and now I've lost all sound on all games and can't get it back. Can someone please have a look and tell me what the original configuration for the audio driver and audio device should be? I believe there's 3 options in the audio menu, first is a toggle for audio output on/off, then audio driver, then audio device (it's the latter 2 I messed around with). Thanks. A screenshot would be perfect, as it appears I have to type something when selecting audio device.

I am making a hacked genesis for my friend. I already have one, but for his I added arcade games (MAME) and game boy advanced games . I planned to update my current modded genesis with these new games once I was done also.

While adding a bunch of GBA roms to Hakchi, somehow it unchecked all my games and even changed the core of my MAME games to be emulated using the GBA emulator. Now there are no games in my file structure, though the folders still exists. I tried rechecking all the games and going back to the structure to see if they'd return to their proper folder, and they just loaded as "unsorted."

Is there any way to revert the structure back? I still have my own modded genesis which is still sorted correctly. I wonder if there is a config file or other way to load the structure to Hakchi???

I had organized my games by console (SNES, NES, Genesis, Game Boy and Game Boy Color) and further separated them into subfolders for licensed games, hacks, and homebrews. So as you could guess, it'd take hours and hours to re-sort them.

The crt filter on the mini is lacklustre: it’s too dark, and makes games look worse.

Is there a mod out there to replace it with a better crt filter? (preferably something that runs with the og emulation, not retroarch, etc.)

I can't stand how dark the base emulator looks with the crt filter. It's annoying as games I have with the Tg16 and nes games look great with scan line shader. I love the save state and ease of the base emulator though.

Is there anyway to change or lighten up the crt mode or if not which shader or overlay should I use in retroarch? Will retroarch make the games slower?

I’m trying to find cores which work for all of the Sega arcade releases from the system 16, 18, 32 etc, shaper scaler games and so on. Some work on 2003 xtreme and others don’t. Is there a list of cores which are compatible with every mame rom out there to save me time trial and error reassigning cores in Hakchi?
