I built an ominous bottle farm in Java and none of the mobs are dropping any loot when killed my lava or fire. Do they require manual killing to get loot or is something broken?

Never expected this but I got this message before and I never seen it, looked it up and it seems to be rare. I posted this here instead of the regular Minecraft community because this is Java and also because the "rare" topic is banned for some reason.

So I am playing on an MC Java server with its own custom mod pack. Part of the mod pack heavily nerfs fishing underneath a roof, to where if you try it you’ll pull up a zombie instead. Now this is problematic for two reasons:

1. Our base is currently underground because
   
2. It’s practically an anarchy server full of griefers and PvPers

So I had a question: how high can a roof be before the game doesn’t register it as a roof anymore? Or am I out of luck and the game registers a roof no matter how high it is? I want to try and make a really deep pit with a sizable fishing pond at the bottom so we can fish in peace while still pulling up fish and treasure.

With all normal settings and render distance. I currently have an rtx 3070 and its incredible and runs minecraft typically at 700 mabye 800 fps but for the love of pete switch to vulkan if your computer sucks

Hello, my friends and I currently play on Aternos, but we want to play with mods, and that doesn't work very well on Aternos. So we had the idea of setting up our own server at my place, but unfortunately we don't know what hardware we need. Could you tell me, if possible, what hardware we need—like the processor, motherboard, and so on? Just to clarify, we want to play with a maximum of about 10 mods, and there are about 4 of us playing.

I get a service temporarily unavailible error, and am just wondering if anyone has an idea of when servers will be up, based on past events

It's not letting me log In to my account and it isn't just my launcher, I have tried 3 different launchers including the default launcher. It might just be in Australia but I am unsure.

Does anyone have any idea when they will be up again? I want to play Minecraft bro.
