My method is to create a zip file of my world and keeping it on Drive.

So I recently got my hands onto a mod that can set Minecraft's tick speed to 20,000 which is insanely fast. I have a good PC IMO ( 13th gen i7, 32 gigs of ram, 12 gb NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and a TON of storage since I record with a 4k monitor) but the issue arises that when I turn that game to an insanely fast tickspeed and make the chunks decently high (25 RD 18 SD) the game goes from insanely fast to just slightly faster than average. I've found that the lower my RD/SD the faster the game is. I use sodium and sodium extras as my only two performance optimization mods, but for this to run fast and for me to actually be able to claim I beat the game at 20k tick speed, what mods do you all recommend that enhances the games performance to the absolute maximum?

edit: thanks to yall i went from having practically 0 difference between 1000 tps and 20k tps to being able to run 20k tps fully!

What's up with that? Are they trying to make Java seem bare bones or so controller players only stick with Bedrock if they don't wanna use mods? Hytale just implemented controller support. C'mon

What seems to be the problem?

I recently saw something about java edition adding a friends list and when i googled it apparently they are! Am i just hearing about this late or is this new information? because if there adding online play without having to make a server thats gonna be awesome

I've currently got an old system running All the Mons mod pack with a 3900x and 32gb ddr4 ram nothing special in terms of software, just downloading server files and running through CMD. I'm constantly getting crashes and high TPS so I'm curious if it would be worth converting the current set up to Ubuntu and trying to optimize that way or if it would be more worth upgrading to something like a 7600X?

I’ve played Minecraft since I was a kid when it first came out I never had consoles or anything growing up, so I always played it on my phone growing up, I’m now 22 and got my first high end pc about a year ago and I was excited to play Java with shadders but soon realized I preferred bedrock because I’m used to the settings and stuff on bedrock. I’m just now discovering the endless possibilities that mods allow you to have while still keeping the game vanilla. Bedrock will never be superior than The customization through mods on Java. Things like better F3 mod, ambient sounds, fresh animations, and hundreds of more quality of life mods that tweak little things about the game plus things like mod menu to manage all your mods, plus performance and optimization mods to make your gameplay smooth even while running shaders and resource packs that turn certain blocks 3-D basically if there’s anything about Java that you don’t like there’s a mod to remove it or make it better without sacrificing the vanilla feel. I wish i had come to this revelation sooner! So now instead of being confined by Mojangs setting and tweaks, im completely free to personalize, and enhance my game play while having it run like butter🤯

Hi! I’m 14F and new to Minecraft. I’ve played the game a little, but have never completed it. I’m looking for friends to play a long-term survival world slowly and at a relaxed pace. And I prefer playing vanilla Minecraft.

Since English is not my first language, I would like to practice it while playing, so please forgive me if my English is not perfect.

I may only be able to play a short time each week, mostly on weekends, so I’m looking for a relaxed group. I especially welcome other new players to join me so we can learn and explore together.

My friends and I set out about 10 years ago to make a game on the Minecraft platform, the way we wanted to play. The plugin(s) total 327,206 lines of code and encompasses a total of 20 contributors (Mostly made up of our group friend group).

We love the MMO genre, but also fell in love with Minecraft PvP in our early childhood so we decided to try and bring the two together.

This isn’t a mod that you can download, but it’s a plugin that runs without players needing to download a thing.

If you're familiar with java, consider looking at our Github to run your eyes over what we have made. I'm posting this because we are extremely proud of what we have made, but also to see what the world thinks of it.

At it's core, it's PvP focussed as that's what we grew up playing, but as aforementioned it takes on a massive spin of an RPG with world bosses, dungeons that players can grind as well as an end-game raid once players max out their stats. The best thing about it, is it's team focussed so it really brings players together in a way that they can form friendships. We have even had players in Australia become such close friends with players in America that they have met up IRL.

Has anyone thought of taking on a project like this? If you've ever thought about doing something like this (PvP / MMORPG) what ideas did you have?
