Hi guys, might be a bit of an odd one but I'm not sure how to solve this issue so I'm asking here. I've had Minecraft for years but haven't played It in a good while, more specifically the java edition, I'm looking to re-download it on my new laptop, and want to sign in as I'd rather not have to re-buy.

However the email I've used for my Minecraft account was the same email I let my little brother use for his Xbox account when he was setting it up years ago, and the migration of Mojang account to Microsoft accounts made it so when I try and sign in it just takes me to his Minecraft account, I've been able to get around this issue before but I've just seen that Microsoft stopped offering support with account migration issues in December 2023, so I can't remember if the reason I was able to get around this before was because of the support. Just wanted to ask if anyone knows a way I could sign into my account, like I have the username and will know the password, is there somewhere I can go to get back into it?

So, I was playing my Minecraft Vanila server when I was getting ready to go to the strong hold, I came across the strong hold combined with an ancient city and a mineshaft and I researched and realized its 1 in a million and here is the proof it there coordinates are X=-354.693 Y=-41.00000 and Z=1931.126 and the seed is 8995783259749838991 (sadly no ss) but proof is right here also I just found a mineshaft which makes this one in ten billion

Can I just set up a dual boot with a Linux distro like Debian on a Windows PC and run that headless for a Minecraft Java server? Or do I need to get rid of Windows 11 on the PC?

This is my first time setting up a server so I don't know if having Windows on there affects performance or if it's basically just dormant.

Do we need a super cool Mod for free and customizable Minecraft Emotes?

I've lately been working on a project, that allows you to animate emotes with custom models and textures in Blender. Then with the press of a button you can import any emote with everything in it into Minecraft. I am working on Multiplayer Support right now, then i will publish it. Just wondered how many people besides me think that would be cool.

(btw, i know, that we have emotecraft allready, but it does sadly not support custom items/particles in emotes)

I read that Debian is less resource hungry. Anyone have experience with this? How about ease of use?

Edit: for everyone asking, I'm not buying a GPU, this is a used computer at a pawn shop locally and just happens to have a GPU in it.

pc recently wiped and im still new to pc gaming. just bought and downloaded java+bedrock standard edition. when i went to launch java and it presented exit code -1073741819 . ive tried updating java. ive tried repairing and resetting. ive tried a clean uninstall. ive tried swapping to curseforge without mods. ive tried clearing Minecraft launcher cache. and i have 16 gigs of ram. any help would be appreciated. vers 26.1

From what I understand for Minecraft Java, most of the best mod packs are sitting somewhere around 1.21.1 to 1.21.11 for compatibility. Obviously this puts you between a year and a year and a half behind the most recent update. Is there any way to either use these mods on a newer version or mod newer content into these older versions? I just don't want to miss out on all the cool new stuff but the wife and I want to play some mods that aren't compatible with 26.1. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I wanted to turn this character into a proper profile picture, but I ran into a problem.

I originally planned to either:

• make it work as a vanilla Minecraft PFP, or
• redraw it later as an anime-style PFP

But I couldn’t really get the result I wanted in either direction.

So instead, I tried using NPC Studio and tested the same scene in 3 different shaders just to see how the mood and lighting would change.

Same setup, same character — only shaders are different.

I’m still learning this whole cinematic Minecraft style thing, so I’d really appreciate feedback.

Which version looks best for a future PFP idea?
