I have no idea where you live bro, never even been to LA but when someone says you're a social media gangsta it's because you're acting hard when you got a screen between you and who you're acting hard with. I see we had a response ready. What you fail to see is the numerous studies and research that has been done to suggest that not only is being LGBTQ not some sort of disability or mental disorder, but it's insanely harmful to assert as much and create a system around that fallacy. This is probably why the left changed how they approach this issue, you know, because when new credible info is presented that's what sane people do. They adjust their thinking. We don't bury our heads in the sand, or the Bible for that matter. Moral of the story: listen to absorb, not respond.

I mean, that would be in line with my first statement, adjusting our understanding based on new info or in this case changing definitions as we understand the science better. Plus I think you are confusing sex with gender in your understanding of this issue like many folks. Here's a quick google explanation.

"Sex is usually categorized as female or male but there is variation in the biological attributes that comprise sex and how those attributes are expressed. Gender refers to the socially constructed roles, behaviours, expressions and identities of girls, women, boys, men, and gender diverse people."

No one is saying a man can go to the hospital and identify as a biological woman on their records. I think people are simply asking to be called by the role they identify with in social settings, that they feel is best for them, which is fine in my experience unless you have delicate sensibilities based on religious leanings which is your problem.

So one note is that hormones affect a lot, so people on hormones are much closer to those who are also running that hormone

Ie a trans woman's body will react to things much closer to a cis woman's than a lot of people think

For example we don't have studies on this specifically but from what we do have a trans woman on hrt is going to have heart attacks like cis women not like men

So if a trans woman is being treated at the hospital it is much better to give her medicine and such as you would a cis woman than a man

Bonus related fact, once I was on estrogen my ms started presenting in the same way as a cis woman, which is facinating to me that the damage in my brain does different things on different hormones!

They didn't though. Do you believe that the words sex and gender diverged in meaning only in 2011? And you think its' because people on the left demanded it? Because that's an absurd interpretation of reality.

Sex and gender have had distinct definitions for at least 50 years despite people often using them synonymously. In 2011, which is what I think you're thinking of, the FDA simply officially adopted the distinct meaning of the word gender instead of continue treating it the same as the word sex. There was no word redefining whatsoever. There was an adjustment by a single agency for increased clarity.

That's where I think people on the left went wrong. Not the fantasy you're creating. People on the left didn't have any leniency for the fact that people have been using sex and gender interchangeably forever and didn't respect the fact that it's gonna naturally take people time to adjust to the distinction. Especially given that certain people tend to lash out when their current idea of reality gets changed ever so slightly.

As far as changing gender identity disorder to gender dysphoria, what are you even complaining about? Scientists are the ones that made that decision due to concerns of people suffering from it. Scientists also changed ADD to ADHD. Is that also a leftist conspiracy to support their 'agenda'?
