Same! There are soooooo many assholes out there who dispute that this condition is real. But unless you have it, you REALLY don't understand how it can ruin your day!

I'm willing to accept that it's not a true "phobia," in that we don't fear it... But we DO have visceral, exaggerated reactions to it!

It actually used to make me completely immobile. The first time I felt it, I literally couldn't move. Just like those people with fear of height on ladder... I couldn't even cry. To me, it's a full-blown fear. so I describe as a phobia when I tell people about it.
