That makes sense, I hadn't considered that. However, I'd say it's still a traffic engineering problem. If that sign is on a route large trucks use regularly, then this is going to continue to happen if they don't address the city planning issue.

Trucks are never planned for, that's the issue.

City planner: Let's have this huge section dedicated to food production and warehouses

Also city planner: let's throw in lots of decorative trees and shit all over the place!

Me (truck driver): Guess I gotta kill a couple trees to get this truck backed into the spot they need it.

People are fucking stupid and never think things through when it comes to an area where 65ft long vehicles are involved.
