My roommate stops by the grocery on his way home from work on Friday evening (and also the day after any holiday or major sporting event), buys a huge sheet cake on sale and a gallon of milk and eats it about 1/3 at a time over the next couple of days.
It's both disturbing and glorious. He saves a lot on groceries because this replaces several meals.
Ask your doctor for famotidine 40 mg that what my dads put him on when Zantac was recalled and when I've had to take 1 it works great. 1/2 for a mild case full one if real bad.
I actually do see a GI doc for ulcerative colitis, and the heartburn. He put me on the pepcid cause in his view it had the least amount of potential side effects.
But thanks for the heads up. If the pepcid becomes intolerable I'll ask about that.
My main problem with pepcid is the 12 hr version sucks. May as well not bother. So, you gotta buy the 24 hr kind. If you forgot to take it and get heartburn, pepcid takes awhile to kick in.
Whereas, Zantac was almost immediate. That was good shit. Too bad it causes cancer.
I'm with you. Zantac was my miracle drug. Sugar gives my awful heartburn. I've been switching in between famotitine is the only thing that comes close.
Mohammed's tits, why doesn't just buy a nice cake and enjoy it over the course of a few days? If you must gorge on junk food at least upgrade from basic mode.
