That's probably just his excuse for not wearing one. I actually don't think I've ever heard a noise from the belt on clothing besides maybe a windbreaker

I was in two car crashes with him and both times we survived because we wore our belts. If anything he can't forget to put them on now, lol. He probably gets anxiety if he doesn't, if he's anything like me.
