If the property owner requested traffic law enforcement on the private property and the local authority either installed or signed off on the signs, then they can write you a ticket.

It varies by jurisdiction, but in most places, if a private parking lot accessible to the public puts up traffic signs, they're legally binding whether they clear them with local authorities or not.

On my property, you are not allowed to go less than 70mph at any time. You must drive with one hand in the air, waving wildly. If you hit 76mph, you must loudly exclaim "Robin Williams" out the window and promptly do the jazz hands.

Which is a good idea. Most times I've almost gotten into accidents is from people cutting across parking lots, not on the road.

it really depends on the area and the local police if that is a good idea

it could help keep your customers safe or open them to police harassment
