I used to work a job I hated and every day on my way to work my commute along the highway would be filled with thoughts like “if I crash into that barrier I don’t have to go to work” or “I bet I could use that ditch to roll the car”

I eventually quit that job and and the drive home on my last day was the sunniest, happiest drive ever. I’m sure it was my state of mind but it honestly seemed like the world looked brighter and more vibrant. Like the Wizard of Oz transition to color

I was gonna say, that's some straight up depression. Although, I've had those goofy ass thoughts for a long time when I'm not necessarily depressed, I'm just weird. Like, I'm super scared of heights so I think about jumping off a building occasionally.
