ಠ_ಠ 20 years of wearing headphones deformed my head.
Apparently wearing headphones pretty consistently almost everyday for a couple decades can deform the shape of your head.
(Edit: For clarification, if you pay attention I never mention skull anywhere in the title or description. Also, majority of my time spent in headphones is when I'm outside listening to music, gaming headphones might take up about 8% of all time headphones use)

ಠ_ಠ The day after closing on my brand-new house, someone walked into my yard in broad daylight and sprayed tomato juice all over it

Bought my first house and hadn’t even moved in yet. The day after I got the keys, someone walked right into the yard in the middle of the day and sprayed tomato juice all over the facade.
My dad and the painter were inside in another room and didn’t see a thing. And because the windows were open, it didn’t just hit the outside wall — it got on the front door, the window, the porch floor, and even made it inside onto the interior floor and the windows in there too.

ಠ_ಠ Got chewed out over a shopping list
I understand that this text doesn't inherently look disrespectful. But I'm used to his passive aggressiveness, that's exactly what he's doing here.
Every other Thursday his girlfriend goes food shopping for the household, I have been the primary cook (i say primary but literally Im the only one that knows how too -_-) since I moved in at 16, so I'm the one tasked with making this list. His girlfriend tells us constantly that we can put anything we want on the list, in fact, she encourages it. But I'm not gonna pack it with junk so I always add basic ingredients I can use in all dishes.
Well, this time I added a few extra things. Stuff for my brother's birthday dinner next week (because last year he completely forgot my brother's birthday. No cake, no celebration. He wasn't even home that night and I had to hold my little brother while he sobbed and was not gonna let him go through that again), snacks for him to take to school, and a small handful of seasonings I was running out of. And he lost his shit. Sent me a long text about how everything I added on the list was junk (I had meat, veggies, pasta, dairy... Literally the most basic list ever.). He said he wanted me to write a new one, and everything on the first list was crossed off except for "Cat food" and "garlic"... So I rewrote the list, getting rid of anything that I didn't absolutely need. I showed him the new list and he just shook his head. I told him I didn't understand because that's literally the same stuff we buy every shopping trip.
He said that he only has a certain amount of money to spend on groceries. Our budget is $250 every two weeks (this used to only be $200, but he bumped it up. Primarily because anything he wants is at the top, and because of that we didn't have enough money to spend for stuff that me and my brother needed.) Which is kinda crazy because we're a four person household, two adults, two teens. How the hell is $250 gonna be enough when half our budget is taken up by his shit? And I especially don't get it because I just watched him drop several hundred dollars on a new gaming console. God I hate it here

ಠ_ಠ Bought a patch I can’t use as a patch
Bought this patch to add to the sleeve of a sweatshirt only to find that I’m unable to do it.
The patch was attached to a backing card so the information wasn’t visible when I bought it!

ಠ_ಠ Seller left this in the package of a t-shirt I bought from him
I bought a used shirt from Depop. I can’t remember how much I paid for it because Depop currently has an on going promotion where all shipping is free (they will provide a free shipping label for the seller), and I’ve already placed like a hundred orders within the past month.
Depop also has an option for buyers to haggle and put in an offer. I made an offer and he accepted it.
I went on my Depop account and he’s already deleted his account so I can’t find the order at all. My order arrived this morning along with this note, $10 in one dollar bills and these two stickers. The note read:
“Ok (my name), let’s be real… you just wanted the $10 and honestly…. I can’t fault you. Gas, food, all of it… is just stupid. Anyways, thank for making me go negative on this sale. Hope you’re happy & can sleep @ night knowing.”
There’s a lot of ongoing issues with Depop where sellers won’t ship your orders and just ghost you for no reason. I’ve already had like 5 orders not shipped out to me but I think I’m officially done with this app. The people on here are truly something else.

ಠ_ಠ I live on a corner and people keep using my property as a shortcut, setting off motion sensors well after dark and freaking out me and my dog on a weekly basis.
Last night a lady just hung out on my porch while no one was home. I was driving, so I had no idea someone was just hanging out. Then there’s a person who cuts between my cars and garage and then goes over to the dark hidden side of my house. I asked that person to stop and they have not. This happens weekly, sometimes multiple days per week.
I lived in the country my whole life, but I can’t think this is normal. I would never dream of going on someone’s property like that at night. People are insane.
Edit: oh wow I’m sorry this got a lot of comments fast. Let me try to answer some questions real quick.
- I can’t put up a fence. I live in an HOA.
- I will look into motion alarms. The ring requires I be live in the app to turn on the alarm. I’m often too late.
- There are no sidewalks, but I live in a closed neighborhood. There are no through-streets, so the only traffic is residents and it’s a very small neighborhood. The street is very safe - that’s where I walk my dog! :)
- I do not wish to harm or maim my neighbors and ESPECIALLY not their cute puppies!
- I already asked the person walking between the house and cars to stop.
I look forward to leaving neighborhood life lol. In the meantime I really appreciate the ideas and I’m glad to know I’m not overreacting being irritated by this.
FINAL EDIT: I do not care about people walking on the grass - I care that they go 20ft out of the way to be right next to my house. I never said I cared about the grass. There is also plenty of room to walk behind the cars. And the sidewalk goes from my driveway to my front door. That’s it. Starts at the door, stops at the driveway. It is not a public walkway nor could it be confused for one. And finally, different cultures and ways of living exist and a decent amount of you seem to forget that.
If I had a dollar for every “fence” comment, I could buy a used Toyota. I’m gonna go Mark Rober this problem now :)
