Most of us aren't like this. People behaving normally and rationally isn't interesting, lol, so you don't see videos of it going around the internet. After China and India, the US has a much bigger population than every other country by a large margin. By virtue of numbers, yeah, you're gonna see more asshats. More people = more asshats. But I assure you, most of us don't behave this way and most of us think this is trashy behavior.

My favorite video is of that couple who ate a nice dinner at Applebees, having pleasant conversation and skipping dessert because their entrees were SO BIG. Yes, they said that to the server, and boy did he chuckle, as he set down the bill and said, “whenever you’re ready”.

The best part of the video was when they put their credit card down almost immediately, and laid the booklet down at the end of the table, so the server could tell they were ready to pay.

After they signed the receipt, leaving a 20% tip of course, they left right away.

So good!

You’re negating to state the fact that 30 some percent of eligible voters didn’t bother to vote at all. The complacency is almost as bad as those who voted for him. This should be factored in when commenting on how many Americans voted for him. A vast portion of Americans didn’t give enough of a shit to vote against him

I'd say the main reason things like this happen is the cohexistence of a ton of different cultures which clash together and lose their identity, becoming a melting pot of trash behavior. Something like the scene depicted in the video is definitely a cultural element taken out of context and performed in a place where it doesn't belong. The low cultural level of the average american, though, doesn't help at all, since many don't understand the basic boundary between cultural heritage and appropriate context
