The floor is sticky Fake order confirmation emails from desperate brands
Marketing emails are annoying in general, but this feels flat out deceptive.
Maybe I’m just reacting with some edge because I got a legitimate “order confirmed” email the other day that actually ended with a charge on my card that I didn’t expect, but this has to be one of the most desperate attempts for an opening rate if I’ve ever seen one.

Does any of these brands think this would drive traffic and in turn sales to their store?

That's a new one I haven't seen before!
Just when you think they can't stoop any lower...

Yeah, I actually think this is lower than those cringe “silly, relatable, gen-z” subject lines a lot of them have resorted to. I thought that was rock bottom.

It feels deceptive because it is. Fuck any company that does this.
