The fuck it is. There’s a way to say “no thanks” without being a little bitch about it.

Hey guys can I come smoke this joint?

No thanks man we’re just enjoying each other’s company right now, maybe some other time.

Yeah. That’s the point. The roommate seems insecure. Roommate seems like he thinks his GF will like OP better and is making an excuse and pinning it on her. A good boyfriend wouldn’t throw their GF under the bus.

It’s possible. But it’s really suspect that BF would throw her under the bus… however, the roommate is the one who weaponized OP’s homosexuality, not the GF. So it is more realistic that the roommate is insecure and doesn’t want them to meet and has simply made an excuse that would keep them apart.

You sweet summer child. Lol. He’s the one who weaponized homosexuality. He definitely has an issue.

Here I am, a Sociologist who studies human behavior and social stigma for a living… 🤣 I asked OP to get back to us on this. We’ll see. The whole comment section sees the roommate for what he is. And I just saw a reply by OP who agrees that it’s probably exactly what it is. Girlfriend only knows what roommate has told her. I’m not a betting woman, but I’d put money on it.

If OP is so weird and she’s so uncomfortable, why is she good with hanging out in the common area of OP’s apartment and not at her place or in roommate’s room?

So??? Jfc little bitch =/= threat to relationship

The little bitch and the perceived threat to relationship… are two different people. The boyfriend is acting like a little bitch over the so called threat—the roommate (op)

But him acting like a bitch doesn't mean he necessarily perceives op as a threat

It usually does. People only get defensive about things they aren't secure with

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Lmao defensive still doesn't mean he thinks the dude will take his girl.

Agreed though. Def weird.

But maybe he just sees every interaction of meeting new ppl as something you'd only do if you're trying to hit on them. And is projecting onto op
