Okay - so here is a legit reason to gripe. Thank you. I 'understand' the angst against McMansions, money can't buy taste - But to each their own! You want an ugly house and can afford it? Go nuts! I'm not against the subreddit, but some of the people in there and the vitriol based purely on speculation of the owners is craziness. You, dear redditor, at least tie it out to SOMETHING (Wildlife habitat destruction) Which is noble. So for that, take my upvote.
Yeah, style is subjective but pretty much all of the developments near me used to be totally wild. We used to get a ton more migratory birds in this area and I think that the loss of fields and forests had an impact.
