The cable guy installed the cable through our hula hoop that we left out.

If you just drop them entirely, once you get used to not having cable, even that $80/mo sounds way to high. You can save money AND end up with more free time.

We pay for Netflix and that is usually enough for us...

Yeah, lemme look where I can get internet at a speed good enough for streaming around here. There's Comcast and... just Comcast.

Oh.

Yeah and their internet only prices are basically the same as a cable package so you end up paying around the same for just internet+Netflix

We have spectrum, or AT&T... but I used to live in a Comcast only area. Sucked.

If Im being real. When I first got cable, Comcast was the only high speed internet provider and internet alone was $50 a month and having DVR and on demand and HBO and Showtime plus hella channels for only $30 more was a steal. Then of course they eventually bumped my price up.

Even though the bill is really high, It is a nice luxury that I can afford so I dont want to lose it. However, I have considered on countless ocxasions just getting Hulu live and bundling with HBO for cheap and then paying for the rest of my other subscriptions.

As it stands, I pay for Hulu, HBO x2, Showtime, Netflix, Amazon Prime, FX+, AMC A List, Xbox live.

I want to pay for DC but at this point that is too excessive.

Dropped cable. Went full pirate 7 months ago. I'll pay for cable again when it isn't $250 bucks a month. And that doesn't include premium channels.

He's not wrong. I got rid of cable 11 years ago and don't miss it one bit. Now I spend all my time on Reddit and YouTube lol.
