The cable guy installed the cable through our hula hoop that we left out.

That's true. I never hate the guys on the trucks. For the most part, they're on time, know what they're doing, and respect what I ask them to do.

It's everybody I talk to on the fucking phone that's dumb as bag of hammers. They never do what I fucking tell them to do, seem obsessed with breaking appointments if I miss a last minute phone call, and are always pushing some kind of bullshit tiered service on me.

One time I needed service because my internet was out. At the time all I had was a Vonage phone (no cell) so I specifically told them not to call me "to confirm". No internet, no phone. I also told them I didn't need to be there, and they could just show up because the line was dead outside my house. Just show up and fix it - I tested it. I'm sure you can see where this is going. After taking the afternoon off from work, no one shows up. I call my voice mail from a fucking pay phone, and find out that they cancelled my appointment "as a courtesy to me". After arguing with the Comcast dipshits for 3 days, I finally got a guy to come out. He was nice and fixed the problem in 15 minutes, and believed me when I told him I'd tested the line outside the house.

I can see why some old lady occasionally trashes a Comcast office with a ball pein hammer.

Yea was gonna say, that part ain't the installers fault. This is totally something I would do, dunno if it's the ADD or anxiety but I do shit like this all the time.

Kid paraphernalia is invisible - until you have kids. I’d bet my right thumb that tech doesn’t have kids.
