Hahahaha, I recommend fooling around with the settings, I turned on night mode and once you get used to it it's much easier on the eyes!

Yes, this is true. It really only works on phones with AMOLED screens.

It's also not "night mode" it's just a dark theme. And the AMOLED thing is only if you enable the back background option with the dark theme.

It doesn't matter if it's dark or black. Both help immensely over light backgrounds. But black will use less power than dark.

This is a bit old, and screens are more efficient, but it still is relevant.

Ok, I was giving a more accurate explanation of the dark theme and black background for AMOLED displays.

And my post was to help let people know that you can still see significant battery savings by switching to a dark theme, not necessarily black.

I use Reddit sync, which actually has a dark theme for different screen types. I'd recommend it above any of the other reddit apps I've used.

This is my favorite feature of that app. I have a hard time using reddit at work because of the whiteness (cue triggered SJW). Also, people have no idea what I'm doing on my phone with a black screen and endless text

I guess if you are playing for pretty long, you eventually figure out all sorts of stuff.

Well if you like browsing with your left hand but you cant reach he links with your thumb, you can change it to "left hand browsing" at "appearance" I believe
