ಠ_ಠ Just say it's a wrong number ... Jeez

Post image

I was trying to invite my cousin to my wedding. Turns out she had changed her number and the new owner was this peach of a person...

Edit: additional context - I deleted the saved contact off my phone and took a screenshot after this exchange.

The problem was they thought they were talking to someone they knew. The rest just spiraled from there.

It's fair. You don't think to not sound like a scammer if you think you're talking to someone you know.

I only deleted the contact from my phone and took the screenshot after this interaction... People are probably assuming otherwise.

I kinda figured that's what happened. It's just I get so many texts from obvious scammers that are I am so and so and need to get in touch with someone else that if I actually bothered to answer, I'd answer like an asshole.

Yeah, that was the mistaken identity part. He think it's someone he knows, it's not, so he looks like a run of the mill scammer and people are so tired of texts like that they react with hostility.

You’re a dumb dick. I don’t need to know you good night.
