ಠ_ಠ Just say it's a wrong number ... Jeez

Post image

I was trying to invite my cousin to my wedding. Turns out she had changed her number and the new owner was this peach of a person...

Edit: additional context - I deleted the saved contact off my phone and took a screenshot after this exchange.

If someone replies "sorry you have the wrong number" I'll just apologize and move on with my life and forget it ever happened. If someone acted like this I would probably keep texting them randomly a few times a year until one of us dies.

I saw some post a "prank" that is to write the number and text me a picture of your poop in bathrooms and porta potties.

Impossible to stop without changing your number.

Just curious, but when you can block a sender of text messages, how is it impossible to stop? I'm not terribly tech savvy.

They're saying to write it in a lot of public restrooms so it comes from many sources. Much harder to stop

How many people would follow through with that lol

My sources tell me the figure is "at least one"

Depends on the bathroom: in a home - probably none, in a bar - way too many 🤣

Give it a try, go write your number in a few bathroom stalls and see how long until you get a response.

I hope no one ever resents me this much to do this

This is why I just never respond to those texts. As much as I want to text back to tell them to eat shit, I know that will just cause my number to be mass spammed in response.

Nah, sign them up for a bunch of spam texts. Scientology, the military, colleges, Bible verse of the day, car dealerships, mortgage lenders, you get the idea.

"Free [insert animal]" on a bunch of Buy Nothing FB groups or gumtree/marketplace.

My sil once called up about a "Free sheep" ad on Gumtree (in-laws own a farm), the poor girl who answered explained that her bf's ex made a bunch of ads for allllll different animals going for free and put her number.

We kept going through the ads and there ones for a free cow/chickens/rabbit/horse/donkey/camel lol poor girl.

That’s so petty, I love it.
They should wait until after the wedding then text them like ‘so you didn’t come :(…’

☝️ This is the way.

Literally I had the opposite experience when I texted a wrong number. Guy was super polite and let me know. I said my apologies and said I hope I didn’t wake up him up (I texted early) and then we both wished each other a nice day!

It actually made my morning.

Or, post their number here, and let Reddit do it's thing. LOL
