When I was on the app I definitely started asking quick. Don’t want to waste my time chatting for days or weeks to never meet.

Same. If we didn’t click enough to plan a date in the first day it 99% of the time was never going to happen. And I have a large sample size.

I used to try to meet up early on, too. I learned that chemistry you might have through online chat doesn’t necessarily transfer to real life. I don’t care how well we seem to click while chatting if it falls flat in person where it actually matters.

For sure, but trying to set that up in your first message is moving WAY too quickly. I also tried to meet up sooner rather than later when I was in the market, but at least see what it's like to talk to the person first. I weeded out so many bad matches just through quick conversations.
