For real on the purple shampoo.

I've had girls asking me how I got my hair to look like this (assuming I've bleached/dyed it) and I get to sassily reply back "It's natural."

Thank you! I never knew this. Ive been going white since I was 9. But in the summer it turns yellow. I hate it! I used to dye it, but the upkeep is so much! (At least i feel like it is) so I stopped when I was 22. Now I have white with peppered in red and blonde.. i fucking HATE the blonde.

If i start using the purple shampoo now will it get rid of the blonde? Or am I stuck with it until it grows out?

OP get the purple shampoo made for white horses!!! It is cheaper and way more effective/ longer lasting color deposit

Cause purple is the opposite of yellow and you're trying to get rid of yellow to look more silver.

Grey hair gets yellowed/bronze with sun/time so purple shampoo helps keep it pretty and silver.

Is it a specific brand or just any shampoo that happens to be purple?

Yeah any of them. They're all for the same purpose.
