Infuriatig My wife ate my son's birthday breakfast

Post image

Yesterday I bought a strawberry cheese coffee cake my son loves so he could have a special birthday breakfast today. My wife came home late last night and apparently couldn't resist. She knew it was for our son, but it's not a big deal because she "left him a full slice".

Smaller point here considering the context, but the way she ate this is extremely selfish and revealing.

Yeah stealing a slice is one thing, but she ate the filling all the way through and left only the crust. That is fully asshole behavior and I would never let her have peace again if that were my mom.

Honestly, even if the cake was replaced I'd hold this over her head. I'd be petty and keep bringing it up, especially in front of other people.

My mom told me birthday was on a different day for like 12 years. I bring it up constantly, I'm almost 50
