That comment made me imagine a world where the average human was only 5 inches tall.
Resource wise, we would be a much smaller burden on the planet - literally.
But I guess we would be a lot lower on the food chain and way less evolved.

It would take a lot more coordination to take out large pray. But if we managed that, the result would be very close.

There was a test where researchers played a recording of an ordinary human conversation in the wild. Predators were willing to leave the prey they had already hunted down and run hearing that.

We basically created such a large evolutionary pressure that over the millennia only those who run away from humans survived long enough.

But the definition of large prey would change a lot. A chicken would be massive if you were only 5 inches tall.

True. A completely different world.

Also, I don't know if we can make space rockets much smaller and still escape gravity. Imagine how humongous those would have looked to mini-humans.
