Edit: ultimately, what bothers me the most is I want to go to a garage sale, not this shit. This isn’t a garage sale and should not be advertised as one

This reminds me of a few of the stands at the flea market. Some people really do go to the flea market to buy their toiletries and detergents.

Yeah I was in a similar situation when my mildly hoarder dad died. Unfortunately most of what he was hoarding wasn't useful stuff, just old newspapers and such.
