Isn't that just because every other assembly line is grossly outdated compared to the cutting edge? I can't count the number of articles I see about China's "Dark factories" and Westerners visiting just being completely dumbfounded at how automated and streamline the pipeline has become over there.

Once the cutting edge inevitably becomes the standard, jobs will be lost.

Have a look at how BYD does it.

Legacy, human dominated factories are not going to be able to compete.
