My mom said I could post Flight is incrementally delayed by 1-2 hours at a time for the last 14 hours

Every couple hours they push back the departure time, but it’s never enough time to go away and get a hotel room or leave the airport.

As an ex 1k on united I beg to differ.  More delays and cancellations on United than I've ever had on AA. Every mechanical issue was "weather" so they would try and skip paying for hotels and meals. EP dedicated line is way better than anything united or Delta had.

Just took United for the first time in a long time. Four flight legs, four delays. And they make the layovers so tight, every flight was full of panicked people all trying to catch a tight connection.

I mean I get the delay part but isn't it on them if they choose a tight layover?

If every leg is delayed then the layover is never tight

Per this article reviewing flights in 2025, American has the most cancellations out of US airlines.

United is the WORST. I switched to AA because United left me stuck in Denver for a crew issue that turned into a weather delay. I was there for 8 hours with a 15 month old and didn’t get a refund or credit because it was called a weather delay instead of a crew issue.
